This Privacy Policy explains how Dongkar ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Dongkar app and website (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account information — your name, email address, and password (stored encrypted).
• Phone numbers — the second number(s) you buy through the Service, and a forwarding number you optionally provide.
• Communications metadata — call and message records needed to operate the Service (numbers involved, timestamps, duration, delivery status). We do not sell this data.
• Device information — a push notification token so we can alert you to incoming calls and messages, plus basic device/platform details.
• Payment information — processed by our payment providers (Stripe, Paddle, PayPal, and Google Play). We do not store your full card details on our servers.

How we use your information

• To provide phone numbers and route your calls and messages.
• To process payments, subscriptions, and prepaid credit.
• To send you notifications about calls, messages, and your account.
• To provide support and to keep the Service secure and prevent abuse.
• To comply with legal and telecom regulatory obligations.

Third-party services

We rely on trusted providers to deliver the Service: Telnyx (telecommunications — carries your calls and messages), Stripe, Paddle, PayPal and Google Play (payments), and Google Firebase (push notifications). These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the providers above as needed to run the Service, or when required by law.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and associated data at any time from the app (Settings → Delete account) or at dongkar.com/delete-account. Some records may be retained where required by law.

Your rights

You may access, correct, or delete your personal information, and object to certain processing. Contact hello@dongkar.com to exercise these rights.

Security

We use encryption and access controls to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date.
